Role: Project Coordinator / Planner - Oil & Gas

Location: Aberdeen

Duration: 6 Month initial contract

Pay: £18/hour (PAYE) £25/hour (LTD)


Role Summary/Purpose
To provide a proficient and effective coordination, and support to the Workshop and Project Management teams. To drive on time delivery targets for our customers. Ensure accurate and timely updating of our management systems. Role will focus on longer term planning to ensure building blocks are in place to drive efficient routing through the shop, reduce repair lead-times and reduce costs .

Essential Responsibilities

  • Create visits for tools forecasted for long term demand
  • Work to ensure forecast accuracy & capacity are balanced
  • Ensure spares are provisioned for future demand
  • Work to reduce repair lead-times
  • Work with the spares hub to ensure spares strategy ties with future demand
  • Work to identify strategic Lifecyle spares to reduce repair lead times and reduce refub costs
  • Plan re-certification of tools
  • Work on complex repair issues on tools to ensure optimum levels of tools available
  • Participate in contract review, to ensure Customer requirements are captured Accurate, timely reporting as required by the Customer/ Business Team
  • Attend customer meetings where required.



Qualifications/Requirements

  • Preferably HNC or Equivalent educated
  • Experience buying parts with ERP/MRP
  • Manufacturing/materials management
  • Strong administrative skills/experience
  • Preferably a proven track record in a similar role, Project Planning & Administration roles.
  • Understanding & experience of manufacturing processes
  • APICS or similar qualification
  • Considerable experience working with Oracle or other ERP system
  • Knowledge of Subsea Wellhead & Production Equipment
  • Knowledge of Project management methodologies
