Position: Project Coordinator / PMO Specialist
Location: Dublin
Salary: Negotiable
Contract Type: Initial 12 Month Contract (Very strong potential to be extended and become a rolling contract)

Our client a global pharmaceutical organisation are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator / PMO Specialist to join their team based on site in Dublin.

The Project Coordinator / PMO Specialist will support the PMO department to deliver its objectives by actively managing projects and supporting the site project management system.

Project Coordinator / PMO Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site projects from planning phase through to execution
  • Accountable for delivering the requirements of the Lead End User
  • Support other project managers on site in the planning and execution of projects as required.
  • Support the site PMO system through taking primary responsibility for the support of the PPM tool.
  • Support the monthly PMO governance cycle
  • Support the implementation of PMO tools and processes as required
  • Provide technical training and coaching support to program and project teams for IT systems supporting the site PMO system and its associated tools
  • Develop and improve the use of PMO tools on site

Project Coordinator / PMO Specialist Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strong communication, organisation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and without close supervision
  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge behaviors and ways of working
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to coach effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and to influence across and upwards through the business.
  • Primary degree in science, engineering or associated technical discipline
  • Experience of leading or delivering projects
  • Minimum Yellow belt OPEX qualification & Lean 6 Sigma qualification an advantage
  • Formal Project Management qualifications are an advantage
  • Ability and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
