Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Project & Product Coordinator to join the Customised Solutions Team. The customer facing role will be responsible for coordinating global projects from proof of principle through to product launch.
Job Description:
- Support the delivery of strategic projects from proof or principle through validation and into Manufacturing.
- Working with global customers to ensure projects run to agreed timelines and scope.
- Lead customer meetings and liase with other members of the team to manage all aspects of the project.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project metrics to team members, stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate with key members of the custom team to create project plans, budgets and tracking project expenses.
- Establish project priorities and decide appropriate action required to meet required target
- Effective partnering with internal and external teams to manage projects through the custom development process and within agreed time frames.
- Support with developing accurate costings for all aspects of the project; proof of principle through to final product.
- Support the team to determine the viability of potential custom projects.
A successful candidate will possess:
- Educated to BSc level in a relevant subject area, ideally biology or chemistry.
- Sound understanding in the scientific principles and processes in developing and transferring new products into Manufacturing.
- Proven experience of working within an IVD, CE, ISO9001 or ISO13485 framework.
- Will ideally have experience of working within a medical device (or equivalent) organisation or within a regulatory framework.
- Experience of using Microsoft office programmes, SmartSheet or Trello.
- Ideally PMP/Prince2 certification or working towards.
- Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal/written/presentation/relationship building)
- Hands-on mentality with a strong ability to get into detail as necessary.
