Role

  • Create Test Strategies from business and technical requirements for business-critical systems across all types of test phases
  • Produce and drive through Test Strategies containing scope, objectives, deliverables, risks, milestones and acceptance criteria that fit in with an overall programme(s) plan
  • Create, mobilise, motivate and manage large test teams, composed of a mix of internal and customer staff, to meet time-challenging deadlines
  • Deliver Test Assurance to review and critique an existing test service or test project
  • Engage with Director/Head/'C' level stakeholders to uncover the real business needs for testing
  • Advise clients on testing best practice, including: test methodologies and the use of test tools
  • Engage with stakeholders and business process owners to develop pragmatic test solutions for the client
  • Provide summary management information, including key financial data, to the client and to the Head of Test
  • Contribute to wider test services business development by identifying and harnessing opportunities and by formally contributing test expertise to bid teams

  • Understanding of how testing fits into the broader business
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience of service and technical transition planning and support
  • Familiarity with service Management in a multi-supplier Environment (SIAM)
  • Valid SC clearance or eligible to achieve
