Programmatic Operations Specialist - Canary Wharf

My client is one of the world's largest international multimedia news provider they provide trusted, financial, national, and international news to professional across the globe via multiple different channels. This role sits with in their agile digital publishing business that combines technology and editorial innovations across the internet and broadcasting to deliver powerful experiences to over 50 million users.

They are currently recruiting for a Programmatic Operations Specialist to support front line sales-force by ensuring programmatic campaigns suit advertiser requirements and maximise revenue for the company. You will make sure that optimal solutions are sold and delivered through working closely with programmatic sales specialists, advertising managers, inventory and product teams whilst also developing system checks in order to monitor, optimise and report on overall programmatic advertising supply chain

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing campaigns, including ensuring budgets are pacing effectively and tactics are being optimized towards relevant objectives and KPIs.
  • Overseeing the execution of operational tasks including budget management, billing and campaign creative trafficking.
  • Conducting regular and ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities to improve performance within and across campaigns.
  • Providing monthly reporting and Programmatic insights
  • Use Redbud insights to ensure partners are not leaking data & are performing optimally
  • Update and Manage the partner score card on a quarterly basis
  • Work collaboratively with Pricing and Inventory, Ops and Sales Specialist teams to help ensure a best in class ad stack
  • Provide Sales with market intelligence on key accounts for new and upsell opportunities based on analysis of spend
  • Providing avails and recommendations for proposals/pitches
  • Trouble shooting campaign and tech stack issues

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of online ad serving at a technical level
  • Deep experience with key programmatic and digital platforms
  • Understanding and familiarity of key industry concepts and trends
  • Advanced Excel User (Pivot Tables, Joining Data Sets, Complex Formulas)
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems right down to the code level.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Flash and Linux.
  • Exceptional relationship management and communications
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders

Desirable Skills

Experience of database, visualisation tools or coding languages a plus
