Salary: £22-25ph

Hours: 37.5

Experis are looking for an Production Scheduler (Contract) for our multinational client to work in Aylesbury

Production Scheduler

Specific Duties:

* Create and maintain MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test) resource schedules in MicroSoft Project using Project management plans, to ensure MAIT manager is able to plan resource requirements and Project Managers can identify any risks to overall schedule (Applicant needs to understand Product Trees, Work Breakdown Structures, work packages, and experience in an Engineer-To-Order environment would be beneficial)
* Liaise with Project Teams, Material / Production Planners & Procurement during all phases of projects to ensure all material requirements* are met to enable progression of Project/MAIT Schedule.
*Material requirements are those defined as any bought-in materials, parts and assemblies, internally-machined parts and/or piece parts required for progression of product into MAIT.
* Create / release purchase requisitions and production orders in SAP
* Manage and report on material availability and status of production orders
* Ensure accuracy of data in SAP system is maintained and report any errors immediately
* Liaise with assembly, test, procurement, engineering and project management teams to confirm priorities and update order status
* Proactively manage any material issues that may be hindering progress on MAIT schedule
* Assist with any other planning or material management task as directed by line manager
* Compliance to the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
* Compliance to the company's Health and Safety Policy


* Effective communication skills
* Good attention to detail and recognition of importance of data entry accuracy and product traceability
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Project and Excel
* Experience using SAP for planning and material movements
* Knowledge of MRP processes
* Ability to read engineering assembly drawings and understand Bills of Material
* Ability to interpret electronics parts lists and part codes would be a distinct advantage
