Product Owner (6 Roles Available) - Heathrow

Our Client

Our established Retail client are 18 months into their "digital first" transformation journey in becoming a technology led organisation that uses the latest innovations to deliver a world-class customer experience. We're looking for several Product Owners to join the team based in Heathrow.

Overview

The successful candidate will report into and collaborate with the Head of Technology and strategic supplier to define, prioritise and break the feature backlog into stories, including clarification and acceptance criteria. You'll be required to work with Business counterparts, set vision for your products using industry knowledge and your understanding of the business context, as well as support the business owner in defining business objectives that will influence the product vision.

The role will also involve initiating and translating the product road map into a manageable product backlog and prioritise delivery based on value, risk and service considerations and supporting the articulation of sprint goals by providing product vision and business objectives.
We have several opportunities available which will involve developing the product roadmap of the following products:

  • Retail Services: drive forward the Retail Services product to satisfy the demands of all consumers of the retail services.
  • Device Platforms: maximise the Device Platforms product to provide reliable, flexible, secure hardware and infrastructure platforms to support all technology in store
  • Digital Store Workplace: support the ongoing digitisation of the store workplace.
  • Intelligent Colleague Operations: support our store colleagues in performing store operations effectively and efficiently
  • Self Service: accountable for products and services that will create frictionless shopping experiences for our customers in our stores
  • Store Experience: seek out new initiatives from across the that will result in digital touchpoints in store for customers

Key Skills

We're looking for Product Owners that will be able to support our transformation by proactively educating colleagues within technology and wider about agile methodologies and product management. You'll be able to keep abreast of new technical developments which could enhance or revolutionise the product and customer experience, as well as create a culture of customer value driven development and promote a cross-team spirit amongst Product Owner peers.

Ideally, you'll understand API led solutions, cloud technology and have an awareness of security with regards to Payments and Customer data, also any knowledge of big data would be helpful. In previous roles you'll have experience of working across multi-discipline development teams with a mixture of onshore and offshore colleagues.
