(Product Manager,Legal,know how, online,digital,prince 2) The Product Manager is a key member of the Know How product management team, primarily charged with supporting content and product development relating to key growth projects. Candidates should have experience of working as a Product Manager, within Know How products, ideally within the Legal sector.

As part of this role, the Product Manager will work closely with the Head of Online and the wider product team to support conversations and joint working with customer segments, editorial, other product management teams, strategy, marketing, finance and sales partners to deliver against growth opportunities that align within business objectives.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Research and provide input into the design, content and feature set for Practical Law UK, especially as it relates to key new growth initiatives or high growth segments.
  • Lead on the organisation and reporting out of customer research projects on such key projects.
  • Support the Head of Online Know-how in devising business plans for budgetary approval and product road maps.
  • Support business teams as required for key presentations, strategy updates, etc.
  • Demonstrate expertise on Practical Law competitor and legal industry developments/trends and act as a lead for the PL UK product management team on these areas for the relevant key growth projects/segments.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills at a senior management level.
  • Product Management experience, within know how systems
  • Legal experience (not essential)
  • Ability to understand and apply technology to product development.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to structure and manage work streams for self and small groups
  • Good communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage own work and meet deadlines.

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • University degree required
  • Experience in the legal industry and/or product management experience required.
  • Experience with legal know how products / markets, strongly preferred.
