This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join a dynamic team of technologists within a global organisation, looking to launch new and innovative digital products and services

The Team

The Digital Banking and Commercial Performance team is responsible for the creation of world class solutions through the digital channel that is unequivocally the best in banking, accelerating commercial growth across all channels, by promoting relevant, timely and highly personalised customer solutions in the customer's preferred channel by unlocking, through collaboration, the power of analytics, insights and content.

The Individual

  • Be an expert for BUK on marketing techniques and omni channel execution - influencing the plans of Directors in the partner products and segments and across the wider Digital and Commercial teams.
  • Drives opportunities to increase the effectiveness performance marketing and targeting.
  • Develops product, segment and channel plans including targets and performance goals.
  • Contributes to team and wider thinking on commercial performance, forecasting and planning.

Skills and Experience

The key technical competencies include:

  • Understanding of customer centric communication techniques
  • Problem solving skills, including the ability to apply creative and innovative thinking, challenge the status quo and drive improvements
  • Commercial perspective - understanding of, the Commercial and Digital Banking strategy and the commercial consequences of contact strategy and optimisation decisions
  • Effective communications, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure plans are both stretching and grounded in sound data principles

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience of delivering omni channel communications as part of a wider team
  • Employs a range of data led communication best practices, disciplines, methodologies and tools
  • Working knowledge of disciplines of targeted communications
  • Experience in the delivery of multi-channel communications in complex matrix organisations
  • Knowledge of the application of Brand principles
  • Experience of playing commercial principles within the Financial Services industry
  • Understanding of risk management and corporate governance, including regulated practices
