Description:

The Product Manager is responsible for the products and their backlog and works with the Service Managers, Engagement Managers and client to create and prioritise the Backlog ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and demonstrates what the Scrum Team will work on next. The product managers owns the backlog and is empowered to make decisions and represent stakeholders to confirm requirements and engages with the scrum team to define and prioritise the backlog.

Required Skills

  • Skill with and knowledge of requirements capture methods and techniques, business systems and analysis, front end process, software development life cycles and associated processes
  • Fully conversant with Product Owner role with the Scrum Agile delivery methodology (preferably holding professional product owner qualification)
  • Familiar with backlog management tools and techniques (e.g. Jira, MS-planner, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with the Windows Suite and the MS Office applications
  • Able to clearly convey the business view to delivery teams.
  • Strong experience in Requirements & Analysis on large scale and/or multi project environments.
  • Fully familiar with Agile Scrum based delivery
  • Holds professional product owner qualification
  • Comfortable and efficient with use of MS suit office productivity tools
  • Familiar with collaboration and life-cycle management
  • Some commercial experience
  • Understanding project financials
