We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Analyst, ideally with a background/firm knowledge of back end development including infrastructure and components.

We are looking for an experienced Agile Product Lead to join a cross functional software development team that uses cutting edge technology to provide applications that drive the businesses Advanced Advertising portfolio. The portfolio of tools is world-leading, providing an Ad Technology capability which is the envy of others. As a key part of our strategy we're building a set of self-serve capabilities to allow the market to interact directly with us for campaign planning, delivery and optimisation.

In the main, your responsibilities will be;

  • Own the development team's roadmap and help to ensure the team's delivery plans are aligned with business' strategic technical and product roadmaps
  • Lead relentlessly the team focus on business value and expertise
  • Ensure that all projects have been defined correctly through the WID Process and that the value has been understood and verified
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure there is sufficient throughput of prioritised work that is refined and ready for planning
  • Participate in all team and department agile ceremonies/meetings and be on hand when the team need clarification on requirements
  • Support the departmental technical direction and drive any initiatives through projects
  • Capture Business and technical requirements, mapping to deliverables and business value in order to ensure high-quality outputs and gaining sign-off from relevant stakeholders where and when appropriate
  • Handle queries and issues raised by stakeholders and clients around the business, ensuring defects are identified and prioritised appropriately and that delivery timelines are communicated clearly

The successful candidate will possess the following;

  • Ability to quickly understand, research, and rationalise technical and business requirements in order to produce a backlog of development work
  • Ability to be confident, engaging and credible with internal stakeholders, and external customers/suppliers
  • Strong understanding of how corporate business works
  • Ability to motivate and provide clear leadership to a team
  • Ability to establish relationships and rapport quickly and effectively with stakeholders and peers
  • Commitment to produce the highest quality products, delivering against targets and achieving departmental, team and individual goals
  • Experience of working in an Agile software development environment, exposed to Lean, XP, Kanban and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience of working in a Waterfall and Agile environment
  • Experience gained in a digital media, telecoms, broadcast, consumer software environment
