Role: Product Lead

Base location: Osterley
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 months

The Senior Product Lead role will focus on definition and delivery of new features on a new device and take responsibility for a number of new features that will be delivered as part of that project.

  • Be the acknowledged product owner and expert within the business for delivery of the new features on the new device
  • Lead complex work and difficult features through the full software lifecycle - from inception, through requirements, design, build, release, testing, evaluation and iteration
  • Work on the developments of a range of other features and projects, as required
  • Prioritise delivery, balancing commercial considerations, customer impact and technical effort/ complexity
  • Translate complex business problems into compelling features and functionality
  • Effectively represent the Product team at Director level and with external partners
  • Manage senior stakeholders through the full product lifecycle: from definition to go/ no-go decision
  • Create and deliver exec presentations that explain product features and plans, as and when required
  • Evaluate multiple options for features and functionality against a mix of criteria
  • Carry out thorough analyses of multiple data sources to inform prioritisation, definition and longer term product strategies
  • Work closely with a wide range of colleagues around the business, including Design/UX, Change Delivery, Technology, Customer Marketing, Strategy & Proposition, Commercial and Operations, to support the delivery of coherent end-to-end customer experiences

Your skills:

  • Strong and demonstrable experience of developing and managing multiple different products at scale, delivering excellent customer experiences and measurable business impact
  • Have a passion for internet-delivered TV and the potential to do more with it for customers.
  • Experience of working within the digital TV industry in a product/technology related role or related discipline would be a significant benefit.
  • Experience of working on complex projects, to ambitious targets while remaining focused on the goals of the project
  • Experience of working closely with UX/Design teams to develop creative approaches to solving problems and creating great customers experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate a wide range of detailed information from a variety of different sources, clearly identifying the pertinent points to determine coherent approaches to problems and to give clear direction to others
  • Have a logical and methodical approach and able to understand a process from start to finish
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a demonstrable ability to manage a vast array of information and work on multiple work streams
  • A team player who is willing to share responsibilities, confer with others, help others do their jobs, lead work streams where necessary and contribute committedly to ideas and future thinking
  • Possess a solid technical understanding that will enable you to have technical conversations and to know when to challenge developers and ask pertinent questions
