Procurement Engagement Lead - Statement of Work (SOW)

We have an opportunity for a Procurement Engagement Lead to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, working onsite with Europe's leading Entertainment company located in West London. Job Purpose

To act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the client's SOW's with a value <£100k. The role holder will oversee a small team of SOW Co-ordinators to ensure Hiring Managers are sourcing temporary resource through the correct engagement type (SOW, T&M Contractor, FTC, etc.) in-line with the client's policies and, provide detailed reporting on all in-scope activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Temp Recruitment and Experis account leadership to ensure challenges/risks are flagged and, managed quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimum impact to the business
  • Review SOW requests from Hiring Managers to ensure they are in-line with policies and engaged appropriately
  • Assist Hiring Mangers with SOW creation and rate research
  • Review of supplier proposal's - providing feedback and subsequent commercial negotiation as required
  • Initial approver in Ariba once SOW is agreed
  • Assist Account Co-ordinators with on-boarding and act as point of escalation
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders throughout the business
  • Ensure all data entry is correct for reporting and compliancy purposes.
  • Provide fixed and ad-hoc reporting on all active SOW <£100K

  • Ensure that own areas of work are serviced and covered thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Support team members with workload as, and when, business requires
  • Any other appropriate duties as directed by the appropriate team leader/Manager.

Person Specification

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

  • Prior experience of SOW creation/management
  • Experience with systems such as Ariba and PeopleSoft would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Articulate with a positive approach, capable of dealing with confrontational situations sensitively & professionally, as well as forging strong relationship with Hiring Managers and suppliers
  • Strong reasoning skills with the ability to deal with complex issues, providing workable solutions
  • Resilient with the ability to remain calm and professional under challenging circumstances
  • Ability to project professionalism and confidence at all levels over the phone and face to face
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible attitude and approach
  • Practical level of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
