Procurement & Supply Chain Business Partner Business Unit: Cavendish Nuclear Job Purpose Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Business Partner to work on an exciting new role based of out of our divisional headquarters in Warrington Reporting to the Head Procurement & Supply Chain, the Procurement & Supply Chain Business Partner will be responsible for delivering strategic value in support of the Business and Cavendish Nuclear strategic goals and objectives. The role is expected to create new value streams through strategic relationship management with internal and external Business partners, impacting the top and bottom line. The role will also ensure that that all major projects within the Business are delivered by delivering a highly professional procurement solution throughout the project life cycle. Responsibilities Main duties and activities will include:Building strategic relationships and partnerships with the Business Director and Management team.Member of the business management team accountable for delivering the strategic goals and objectives of the business and Cavendish Nuclear.Work with senior stakeholders and partners to develop and challenge the business strategy, portfolio of projects and priorities such that realistic and ambitious expectations are realised.Building strategic relationships with the client and understand the goals and opportunities that exist within that business.Strategically influencing client and internal strategies to deliver value through the supply chain.Continuous development of a strategic value opportunity pipeline through engagement with senior stakeholders.Identifying and delivering value to the business and client through innovation from the supply chain (including bid support).Support the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain in the capability development of the P&SC function.Working closely with other procurement and supply chain teams on supply chain strategies, best practices, supplier development, supplier performance monitoring and common sourcing initiatives that will deliver on-going added value to the business.Supporting the bid & tender processes for new business and ensuring that the appropriate resources and procurement and supply chain strategies are taken into account during the bid process.Lead negotiations as appropriate with the major work package providers, to ensure the correct commercial and contractual arrangements are concluded.Accountable for supply chain performance and management of risks in support of the Business and major projects.Qualifications & Requirements Skills and Experience required:Is fully conversant with and able to apply senior stakeholder management and advanced influencing techniques.
