Process Operator - Pharmaceuticals

My client, a leading Pharmaceutical organisation based in the South East is seeking a Process Operator to join their rapidly expanding team on a contract basis. This contract role will be a 12-month fixed term and requires a passionate, hardworking, and technically skilled individual. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring all products are manufactured in compliance with relevant quality and safety guidelines and works with all site functions on new product introduction, developing pilot lines, introducing new manufacturing equipment and developing related SOP's and forms.


Responsibilities:

* Manufacturing, Packing, Cleaning and Operations activities required to meet manufacturing schedules & commitments
* Partner with support staff/functions i.e., Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality, Scheduling & Warehouse to resolve issues
* Execute detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures and complete required documentation relating to business and regulatory requirements
* Work with all site functions on new product introduction, developing pilot lines, introducing new manufacturing equipment and developing related SOP's and forms
* Flexibility is required to support shift work

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree
· 2 or more years' experience working in the Pharma/Biotech industry

Competencies:


· GMP experience essential
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Lean principles and/or 5S experience
· Good computer literacy
· Able to independently organize and prioritize multiple projects
· Excellent verbal/written/technical communications skills
· Creativity and willing to gain an appropriate level of understanding of subject matter
· Able to take initiative, maintain a positive attitude, be self-motivated, and work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision
· Ability to be flexible with work hours to collaborate with the global team and work well within team structures
