Problem Manager - Bracknell - 4 Months

My Client is a leading Information and Communication Technology company. They are responsible for delivering world class IT Services and Solutions.

Currently, they seeking a Problem Manager to join their team and manage all problem records throughout their lifecycle.

As part of the role :-

You will be working on their Managed Services Team and will manage service delivery within small to medium sized accounts and/or elements within a large account.

  • You will manage an average of 5 - 10 active problem cases at a time.
  • You will identify the root causes of problems and resolve this in a timely manner in accordance to the client's contractual KPIs.
  • You will conduct incident trending to assist with proactive problem identification.
  • Whilst doing so, you will present problem management service related information or performance data at customer-facing meetings.
  • You will act as a point of escalation for all delivery related issues to the problem management service and facilitate any queries which may require attention of the Support Lead for advice and direction.
  • You will contribute to the forecasting and management of the account P&L (orders, revenue & margin), balance sheet, and cash.
  • You will perform quality assurance for all management briefings prior to release, to both internal and external audiences.
  • You will provide advice / guidance and support for team members with their problem work.

The ideal candidate:-

  • You will have excellent stakeholder management experience
  • Be able to confidentially chair and participate in problem triage meetings
  • Previous problem management experience is desired
  • You will be proactive with problem identification
