Key responsibilities: You will influence the evolution of our business strategy and implementation planning, including the evaluation and of potential initiatives and financial justification of these.You will work directly with our business partners, both internal and external.You will engage with different levels of seniority to determine how business strategy translates into solutions to be implemented.You will lead cross-domain and multi-disciplinary architecture engagements.You will chair the Technical Design Authority and identify key design decisions to fulfil the business strategy. By applying your relevant expertise, you will assist commercial, technology and operational teams in ensuring the delivery of the complete scope and business outcome is on time and within the budget.You will work with commercial, legal and procurement to progress agreements with 3rd parties to enable solution ensuring operational excellence and commercial value.You will take the time to keep abreast of technology trends, evolution and innovation … then you'll get straight back to it; we never stop.You will be motivated by and expected to uphold our company's culture and company purpose at all times. Furthermore, you will build strong trust relationship with your key partners and teams across the company and its supplier base. Required Skills: We would welcome 10 years' experience in the telecommunications, broadband, satellite and media industries. We would like you to possess a background in either carrier-grade network or large scale software architecture.You will have a consultative approach to managing stakeholders, business engagements and initiating projects. You will benefit from your intellectual flexibility and pragmatism in finding out the relevance of various aspects of a given multi-domain architecture in order to identify allowable shortcuts and "quick wins".You should have a working knowledge of industry-specific cross-domain architectures for OSS/BSS and network integration, including automation of business processes and telecommunications industry standards (eTOM, TAM)You should be skilled at preparing concise technical documents and presentations; understanding your audience is key and your style and content should be appropriate for C-suite engagements through Delivery teams.You should have a broad knowledge across the technology spectrum so you can converse confidently and challenge when neededYou must have the vision to anticipate problems and issues as well as the creativeness to provide solutions.
