Role: Principal Information Security Consultant

Location: Malvern

Duration: 3 months initial

Rate: Competitive day rates

They deploy scientific and technological knowledge, proven research capabilities and unique, purpose-built facilities to provide both services and products that meet the needs of a wide range of global customers. We operate primarily in the defence, security and aerospace markets and our customers are predominantly government organisations, including defence departments, as well as international customers in other targeted sectors.

To report to the Project Manager responsible for the Alert Monitoring Capability of the CIT Enterprise Cyber business

1. Contribute to the development of detection content (already in motion within client)
2. Contribute to the development of Protective Monitoring Control Compliance Matrix (already in motion within client)
3. Development of customer document 'best practice logging guide'
4. Development of playbooks for incident escalation / response purposes based on the detection content developed (see point 1 above)
5. Development of procedures for creation of detection content, playbooks and custom parsing rules
6. Assist with on-boarding reference customer(s) as applicable (timing dependent, so if customer comes through within assignment period)
7. Assist with integration of Alert Monitoring with other technologies as part of the overall Service
8. Development of design documentation in accordance with client approach to governance
