HP Enterprise are looking for an experienced people managers who have worked in core people management roles in challenging and multi layered organisations and are currently looking to expand their knowledge and skills.

The TPS Program PMO Manager is a key member of the Transition & Transformation team. She/he has responsibility for supporting (T1) Transition and (T2) Transformation roles and activities aligned with the TTM methodology. This includes interaction with the Transition and Transformation Lead and the Program Managers. The role is aligned with the following project management processes:

  • Communications, including escalation management
  • Scheduling
  • Reporting (including contract deliverables)
  • Risk management
  • Change management
  • Project and program financials (E3T).

She/he is responsible for the leadership, mentoring, training and oversight of the TPS Program PMO resources/PMs as well as ensuring compliance to project processes, standards, procedures and tools.


  1. In conjunction with the TPS T&T Lead & Program Managers, ensures TPS T&T projects/programs are aligned with the contract, account and business strategies
  2. Supports program and project management performance excellence by ensuring that all standards (NODs) are adhered to and reports on non-compliance using the TPS PMO senior management chain for escalation
  3. Provides proactive leadership, to support, guide and train PMO and T&T program/project delivery resources
  4. Implements TPS Program PMO to support Transition and Transformation activities
  5. Support of tools and processes to ensure consistency and standardization of activities across the program
  6. Ensures that the analysis of program/projects dependencies, constraints is undertaken using the data from the TPS Project Scheduler
  7. Clearly articulates the activities that the Program PMO will carry out, as well as those that it won't carry out aligned to the PMO Statement of Work
  8. Ensures that the TPS PMO roles are resourced according to the approved CMT and a change is raised for any changes.


  1. Provides visibility to the TPS Transition and Transformation Lead on the T&T health using standard reporting tools
  2. Assures and governs that any NoDs issued by TPS leadership are adhered to by the T&T Lead and everyone within the T1 and T2 programs. Non-compliance to be flagged
  3. Supports TPS Transition and Transformation Lead with information in order to make decisions and take corrective actions
  4. Escalates to TPS Transition and Transformation Lead in case of program/projects slippage, conflicts/overlaps and identifies projects in trouble and assists with recovery and go to green plans
  5. Directs TPS T&T Lead, Project/Program managers to the project management lifecycle, processes, procedures and tools in line with TTM/Edge that support TPS Program PMO and delivery
  6. Provides support where required for the TPS T&T Lead aligned to the PMO SOW
  7. Ensure that each PMO member is trained/coached in every PM knowledge area e.g. risk management, schedule management etc., in order that each member can provide coverage for each other during vacation periods
  8. Ensures regular weekly project review processes are in place and supports T&T governance covering: internal/external reports, Schedule status (including consolidated program schedule, critical path), top issues/risks and dependencies, deliverables, and financial status and change requests
  9. Ensure that go to green actions are managed for any tasks/activities which are behind schedule (Amber/Red) using the BRAG in the schedule to drive this
  10. Reviews the customer reporting with the TPS T1/T2 Program Management team prior to distribution
  11. Coordinates TPS PMO activities with the TPS PMO team and holds regular team meetings and status reviews.
