PMO Analyst

We have an opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join Experis on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of our Employed Consultant team, on a major public sector account. This is a chance to be part of an award winning organisation whose key priority is investing in its people. The role can be based from Chorley or Chesterfield depending on your preference.

The main of the post are to:

  • Provide excellent project or programme related support across the programme portfolio.
  • Assist with effective communication between project management and the business.
  • Maintaining central project records and producing regular management reports.


  • Producing 6 Business Reporting packs weekly
  • Chasing PMs for updates to reporting tools in support of Weekly Client reporting
  • Management of Direct Engagement Risks and Issues list
  • Production of internal reporting pack
  • Production of Strategic project List
  • Excel analysis of project data in support of management decisions
  • Assisting with financial management reporting and invoice issue resolution
  • Supporting daily triage meetings with the customer,
  • Support the desk in contracted hours to take enquiries and provide support to the customer,
  • Supporting the ongoing improvement process
  • Establish and maintain Project Delivery plans, reflecting new and established releases, using account standard planning tools and techniques,
  • Assisting in managing and tracking the updates to release level and core delivery plans using Clarity and Open Workbench tools,
  • Produce and analyse a suite of reports for circulation within the programme, the Account and for the Client, adhering to account standards and deadlines,
  • Attend development and progress meetings, producing reports and minutes,
  • Provide specific support to PMO Managers, release managers, Core delivery Managers and Technical team Leaders to implement changes,
  • Manage project risk register and work with project manager and project leads to manage project risks.
  • Establish and maintain project controls, keeping the project manager aware of the project status. Assist in preparing project performance reports.
  • Ensure organisational tasks are carried out efficiently. Manage and monitor compliance of the project with project leads.
  • Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.



  • Very Good Excel
  • Very Good Power Point
  • Experience in information gathering to support management reporting
  • Microsoft Access skills beneficial
  • Have a sound knowledge of Risks and Issues Management, evidenced by their ability to establish and verify risks and issues, and produce reports reflecting same for Risk Review meetings
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Programme-level planning in an IT-driven change delivery programme
  • Developing and delivering reports to key stakeholders at all levels
  • Building and sustaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, including use of Project On Line
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)


  • Working in agile delivery environments, including using agile tools, such as Trello
  • Certificate in Agile delivery, PRINCE 2, MSP
