We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a large national IT services and solutions provider, to join their Project Services team - based at their headquarters in Abingdon. The PMO Analyst will ensure high quality project management services are offered by our client - through the maintenance of effective governance and standards, support of the field-based project managers, and ensuring of the efficient delivery of large capital spend projects.

In this role you will engage with a number of senior stakeholders within the business, working on a portfolio of projects covering a range of implementations on end client sites. You will be a key part of the delivery function and will be required to drive improvement in project standards and governance, define change requests, undertake financial tracking, invoicing and provide management reports. You'll work together with Project Managers and Technical Specialists to ensure successful project delivery and closure.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Project governance including financial tracking, invoicing, project reporting and escalations.
  • Effectively managing project changes to scope.
  • Management of projects throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Liaison with project stakeholders including project sponsors and senior management.
  • Ensuring that projects are accurately planned and suitably resourced.
  • Delivery to high standards including excellent customer care.
