OVERVIEW:

The post holder will use their experience to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare organisations. Influencing These partnerships aim to enhance the scientific, technological, and clinical mission of the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deepening company engagement in the commercial sector, and the NHS
  • Ownership of Tier 1 bio-pharmaceutical accounts
  • Renewal of existing industry partners' memberships
  • Winning new partnerships
  • Upsell relationship to higher revenue generation potential
  • Transition from a subscription model to a value-add consultancy model.
  • Design and approval of strategic partnerships
  • Delivery of new industry projects in line with the strategy (e.g. cancer)
  • Revenue stream generation
  • Revenue forecasting
  • Co-creation activities leading to improved platform or dataset for the company
  • Supporting Marcomms on Public announcements of company-led partnerships
  • Know and understand the meaning behind our virtues of Empathy, Integrity, Focus, Connection, Speed, Curiosity, Impact and embody them in all aspects of your role

Key stakeholder relationships:

  • SVP level therapeutic leaders and bioinformatic leaders in Tier 1 Biopharma accounts
  • Executive team engagement across all departments in the company
  • Represent the company at key industry conferences, including developing and delivering presentations

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Post Doc/Masters - Bioinformatics / Relevant Life sciences
  • 5 years of commercial industry experience (pharma/biotech/related)
  • Mission driven
  • Advocate for genomics-enabled precision health
  • Champion of the commercial agenda to benefit patient outcomes and the UK healthcare system
  • Approachable and open to change
  • Pragmatic in finding solutions that satisfy disparate interest groups (e.g. commercial vs clinical vs patient vs legal)
  • Extensive experience in dealing with large pharma, and biotech
  • Understanding of genomic data applications
  • Understanding of clinical data, its sources, and its limitations
  • Understanding the regulatory landscape
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Pro-active collaborator
  • Diplomatic and sensitive
  • Actively progresses self-learning and development
