PERFORMANCE SUPPORT ANALYST

Our client a global technology giant is looking for an experienced Performance Support Analyst to join their team and support their end client within the Financial Services industry on site in Dublin

Performance Support Analyst KEY Responsibilities:

Performance Management Support

  • Research best practice and example benchmarks on goal setting and KPI measures
  • Support the development of the Dashboard so that it meets stakeholder requirements
  • Operate the Dashboard, extract data from appropriate sources and escalate when data gaps appear missing
  • Perform deep-dives into performance metrics and create performance reports for the Performance Manager to take into appropriate senior decision making forums
  • Analyse significant performance deviations from previous trends or pre-defined KPIs and escalate to Performance Manager if remedial action is required
  • Support the KPI change approval process; model the appropriate changes into the Dashboard
  • Support KPI and reporting mechanism reviews to ensure they are still current in light of any changes to Business strategy
  • Create risk threshold alerts / notifications within the Performance Management tool to effectively monitor risk thresholds being breached

Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk
  • Appropriately escalate risk / issues regarding current portfolio status
  • Ensure full compliance with all Group, Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards

Management Support

  • Positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across IT as appropriate

Performance Support Analyst Requirements:

  • Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills
  • Proven experience in performance management or cost analysis and control, especially in an IT context
  • Experience in KPI development, tracking, reporting and in performance dashboard creation / operation
  • Proven business analysis, cost analysis and control experience
  • Advanced skills in excel and PowerPoint.
  • Primary or Secondary degree in a related discipline
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
