Performance & Management Information Officer

Permanent Position

The post holder will monitor management information and the progress of projects across the organisation, developing insights and reports on performance.

The team you would be working with is responsible for the design, delivery, and outcomes of an ongoing operational and culture transformation- ensuring embed curiosity, learning, and action in the right mix.

The Management Information Officer will work across the organisation to support the Chief Transformation Officer to align its vision and purpose to the infrastructure, initiatives and daily actions that underlie rapid progress.

Key accountabilities:

  • Integrates with functions across the organisation to monitor delivery of projects
  • Has oversight over multiple concurrent projects and monitors overall progress towards organisational goals
  • Uses management information software (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, others) to develop performance insights
  • Creates and presents reports on organisational performance & progress towards organisational goals
  • Builds relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Tracks risk and ensures risk management information is shared with relevant managers
  • Champions embedding of agile working practices
  • Uses management information to support development of transformation-based business cases and benefit assessments
  • Produces and maintains roadmaps, backlogs, and effective reporting mechanisms
  • Supports the Chief Transformation Officer to plan and monitor progress of sustainable change
  • Know and understand the meaning behind our virtues of Empathy, Integrity, Focus, Connection, Speed, Curiosity, Impact and embody them in all aspects of your role.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to use management information software (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or other) to generate insights and present performance data analysis in a clear and actionable way
  • Proven project management/PMO experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities spanning different areas of the business
  • Solid relationship building expertise with the ability to garner buy-in and strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can proactively drive analysis and find areas of under performance
  • Strong project management skillset - planning through to delivery, evaluation, and benefits realisation
  • Excellent prioritisation skills and proven ability to apply judgement in complex situations
  • Used to working at pace
  • The post holder will not require a sciences background but must have a desire to learn new things quickly
