Peoples Change Communications Director
Location: London
6 Month Contract
Pay: Competitive

My client is seeking an experienced internal communications expert, specialising in change communications strategy, planning and execution. In this role, you'll be required to develop and execute impactful communications strategies and plans that build employee engagement and advocacy. You'll work with Communications, HR, executive leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure our communications reflect our brand and align with the client's strategic priorities and people experience


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute impactful change communications strategies and plans that change the behaviours of people within the People function and position the function as a key enabler for growth and performance.
  • Define cohesive messaging that connects the different parts of the People function, in service of the overall client People Experience, and use this messaging to 'market' the function internally.
  • Connect the dots on multiple change initiatives across client as needed to ensure a consistent story that resonates from an employee perspective.
  • Engage colleagues across the company on how to interact differently with the People function, changing the behaviours of employees and driving great self-service.


Knowledge and skills

  • Extensive communications experience supporting significant strategic change, transformation and culture work.
  • Proven record of formulating and executing engaging change communications plans that achieve business objectives, with creativity and flair.
  • Strong storytelling abilities.
  • Detail-oriented but also able to see the strategic and 'bigger picture'.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable being a 'self starter'.
