Pega Lead System Architect contract job opportunity based in Newcastle to work on the largest digital operation in government serving over 50 million customers.

This opportunity would suit a Lead System Architect looking to build knowledge and capability, work with highly skilled Engineers, and make a contribution towards the largest digital transformation project in the government.

As a Lead System Architect you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to produce quality assured technical solutions.
  • Adhere to Software Engineering Process
  • Adhere to architectural blueprints
  • Develop planning and build estimation
  • Undertake Peer Reviews
  • Support the delivery of initiatives e.g. Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps
  • Actively support and feed into the cycle of continuous improvement.

Lead System Architect Criteria:

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering technical solutions on virtual environments using Pega v7.1
  • Demonstrable experience in writing effective technical and business focused reports and specifications
  • Collaborative team-worker
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, manage and complete delivery of software applications within time limits
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience of working within Agile Delivery Frameworks e.g. SCRUM and Kanban
  • Promotes a positive work culture, maintains successful working relationships with other team members and the Delivery Group as whole
  • Pega Certified Lead Systems Architect
