Payment Specialist (Domain - Card Issuing & Acquiring) (Domain - Card Issuing & Acquiring)

Location -Farnborough.

Rate: £400 - £430

Duration: 6-9 months

My client is currently seeking an experienced Payment Specialist to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis based in Farnborough.

Role & responsibilities:

  1. 1. Provide day to day support for client Network acquirers, network to network partners, issuers and processors. This includes researching complex situations, and supporting the participants on all aspect of operations and managing participant operational relationships.
  1. Support Participants through the semi-annual release process. This includes managing and coordinating certification, ensuring the Participants are in compliance with Operating Rules and Regulations, and engaging the participants to support the client and Diners Club key initiatives.
  1. Support local Business Development teams to expand the client and DCI Cards in Force and acceptance footprints. This includes boarding new franchises, issuers, acquirers, processors and software vendors on to the clients Network, and assist contract negotiation and Due Diligence.
  1. Support the Quality of Acceptance Initiatives by managing the DGN participants within the assigned portfolio. Activities include but are not limited to analyzing end to end transaction processing, help to trouble shoot any card decline issues or card holder acceptance complaints, and the support of issuer launches with priority.
  1. Demonstrate knowledge as a subject matter expert to mentor others in the department. Display leadership role in executing special department initiatives. Lead the department to ensure processes/projects are well documented to meet auditing requirements.
