Paint Technician

Permanent - Full Time

£22,000 - £28,000 per annum

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Technician to join an Aerospace Organisation.

The client design and manufacture advanced composite structures that can be found on a vast range of commercial and military aircraft. Using your experience as a skilled Paint Technician, you will work within a small Paint Shop Team that paint and prepare these composite aerospace parts.

You will ensure that all works are carried out safely and accurately and to a satisfactory standard in accordance with all applicable paint specs and procedures. You will accurately input data into the internal system, support the Paint Shop Team Leader in all areas of the business and provide any ideas and suggestions that may benefit the team and the operation as a whole.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to have experience of paint spraying/prepping and working with metals.

We would also like you to:

  • Work in a safe manner at all times including wearing all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Have knowledge of working with composite components in preferred, but not essential.
  • Have experience of working within the aerospace or automotive industry is desirable.
