Order Manager (Telecommunications) - Glasgow - Initial 3 months

Order Manager required to join a Telecommunications and Intranet Service Provider based in Glasgow on an initial 3 month contract.

  • Front End interface between Sales/SE community and delivery, responsible for gathering clean order requirements from multiple inputs and ensuring an accurate translation into the appropriate provisioning system.
  • Drive issue resolution to minimise delays around release of orders into provisioning flow.

Essential Duties:

  • Validate order package across all products and bandwidths to ensure completeness and feasibility in areas of access, billing, network capacity, and design and product specification.
  • Determine the correct order provisioning system(s) and configure the requirements to ensure accurate provisioning/invoicing of customer order.
  • Engage with customer, as appropriate, to obtain details to ensure departments have the requisite information to execute delivery.
  • Draw on in-depth knowledge of GC product set, nuances of delivery in different regions to ensure all parameters are obtained from the customer and to demonstrate a professionalism that is conducive with a best in class customer experience.
  • Work with internal back office teams on customer changes midstream and reply to inquiries from sales or internal customers regarding status of existing orders.
  • Focus will be on accelerated order requirements gathering and to enable Sales/SEs to concentrate on revenue generating activities.
