Role Oracle Solution Architect (Oracle SOA / Fusion Middleware Solution Architect)

Location: DTC, London

Duration: 3 months (ASAP)

Key deliverables that require 100% focus:

  • Strategy for Integration (Vision, Goals, Direction, Rationale, Products, Legacy, Linkage into Products and Customer world, Scope in/out, Benefits and how to measure)
  • Detailed Road-map, Capacity Plan (variables, levers, licensing model, hardware, software, people), Key decision points, refreshes, HA/CA re-test schedule
  • ESI dependencies, and external dependencies on ESI
  • Detailed HA & CA, D/R design, RTO, RPO, socialise, confirm, remaining risks and mitigation (e.g. service risk if fail over from Eagan E to F), detailed recovery scenarios and associated testing / validation regimes, educating support folks, readiness checking, availability of replacements for failed equipment (service restoration time), detail how this is a loss-less environment
  • HA, CA Testing Plan, Evidence gathering, socialisation, periodic re-testing approach, ensuring environments are available and representative
  • Capacity, Stress testing, extrapolation modelling
  • Organisation design, skills requirements, people planning (working with TCS, externals)
  • ESI Playbook, How To guide, rules of the road, supported integration's (e.g. Cloud à On-Premise, Cloud à Cloud, which combinations are supported e.g. SFDC ßà Service Now), link to industry standards, what is NOT allowed / supported (exclusions)
  • Service Catalogue - foundation and maintenance processes
  • Service Designs, Design Patterns and Templates for all deliverables e.g. Sequence Diagrams
  • Governance Model and setup, exception handling, change management / prioritisation, Design Authority, Decision-making model
  • Standards and Principles
  • Data Model / Canonical Model, mapping approach
  • Monitoring Exception Handling (e.g. backlog processing, sync failures)
  • UI integration model e.g. surfacing workflow errors, timeouts…
  • Auditing, Logging, alert management, periodic status reporting, stats packs for LT etc.
  • Data Security Model, storage of PII, data privacy, compliance for Networking and Security Policy, periodic compliance checking (what is this and how to execute efficiently)
  • Status Reporting deck, to PMs, to EPOs, to Chief Architects, to EBS LT - weekly status and issue reporting to EBS LT
