Oracle OBIEE Developer / Data Visualisation Specialist (OBIEE) - London - Initial 3 months

Oracle OBIEE Developer / Data Visualisation Specialist (OBIEE) to join a multinational telecommunications company based in London on an initial 3 month contract.

The ideal candidate must have the core capability to turn a business requirement into reporting visualisations that the business can use to answer their key questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • OBIEE v12 in the client's Consumer Business.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with OBI v12
  • Ability to support customer feedback sessions to gather requirements
  • Ability to design and build standard dashboards and reporting requirements based on customer feedback
  • Ability to build Data Visualisation dashboards and utilise best in class knowledge of the Oracle suite of products available to the client.
  • Support customer training during the launch and rollout
  • Fully documented handover of all Dashboards built for in life management

Mandatory Skills

Suitable candidates will have:

  • OBIEE (v12)
  • SQL (HaaS beneficial)
  • Requirement gathering
  • Documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Essential Requirements for the role:-

  • Has skills/expertise in an area of self-serve reporting and business intelligence tools
  • Proficiency with OBIEE in 10g and/or 11g desirable but not essential
  • Experience with writing PL SQL statements is essential
  • Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities
  • Provide timely and accurate status on job assignments
  • Must has a strong work ethic with particular emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Is a pro-active and enthusiastic self-starter with a "can-do" attitude
  • A collaborative attitude and an ability to share expertise with team colleagues
