What are we looking for?

Our client are looking for an experienced Operational Service Manager to fill a brand new role for the business.

TSS are an integral part of the function that provides operational capability to support production systems across a wide-ranging estate and a multitude of critical services. The successful candidate will actively manage the day to day operational delivery and will develop and improve on process integrations of their current operating models.

Required Skills?

  • ITILv3 Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Operation Intermediate qualifications.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, and experience communicating complex concepts to different audiences.
  • Knowledge and experience working within the principles of the Project Management methodologies.
  • Service Operations integration and support experience.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage activities to tight deadlines and to a high quality.
  • Good analytical and communication skills;
  • Experience working with Service Management toolsets (preferably ServiceNow).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly MS Excel and MS Project.

Desirable Skills?

  • ITILv3 Expert
  • Experience of risks and issues register
  • Budgets and commercial contract experience

It is essential you currently hold or are able to achieve and maintain SC clearance.
