I recruit for a FTSE 100 Engineering Support Services Organisation who is seeking an experienced Office Manager.

The role will lead the team of 3 delivering the Administration Services that support the operation of the Major Programmes Team (MPT) which consists of 40 Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors. There will also be PA duties to both the Head of MPT and Head of Commercial.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Travel Bookings
  • Oversee Raising Purchase Requisitions / Purchase Orders
  • Goods Receipt Note for Purchase Orders
  • Oversee Meeting Room Bookings
  • Production of monthly reports where required for the team
  • Consolidate MPT timesheets
  • Liaise with constructions sites to ensure that they have required Personal Protective Equipment

Experience and Attributes:

  • Driving licence is desirable. Will be expected to travel to sites occasionally
  • Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills - MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
  • Experience of SAP is highly desirable
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Good time management and proactive
  • People management experience
  • PA experience
  • Strong Administrative skills
  • Trustworthy with highly confidential information, is able to deal with confidential information in an appropriate and sensitive way
