Network Engineers x 3 - ISP - Broadband connectivity- WAN- CISCO - FIREWALLS - DNS - Web Hosting - Email Services - Build Router Configurations - Connectivity Installations

My client a leading Technology provider is seeking 3 x Network Engineers to join an existing technical team responsible for the on-boarding of new customers to the clients Connectivity Services network.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering successful installations for new customers and delivering upgrades for existing customers and also

  • Be expected to:
    • Create CPE router configurations to a customer's requirements, adhering to Connectivity Services build standards
    • Deliver connectivity installations,
    • Configuration of ISP Services to meet customer requirements
    • Manage any installation failures through to resolution, including dealing with Telco suppliers.
    • Improve process development, documentation and knowledge sharing.
    • Provide technical assistance to the project coordination team
    • Liaise with customers to establish their technical requirements and convert those requirements into a valid technical solution
    • Configure and manage firewall devices (Cisco ASA or Fortinet Fortigate firewall)
    • Troubleshoot WAN connectivity
    • Have hands-on experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting issues with Cisco/Juniper/Huawei routers
    • Configure and diagnose issues with BGP peering's between routers
  • Provide support for:
    • Technical change requests - assessing and implementing complex change requests for customers in conjunction with the change team

Key Skills:

  • Build router configurations according to customer requirements and IHG standards.
  • Deliver connectivity installations and configuration of associated ISP services for customers.
  • Providing escalation & resolution services for IHG Delivery and other technical teams as required.
  • Manage any installation failures through to resolution, including dealing with our Telco suppliers.
  • Provide project support to development and operational teams within Connectivity Services and other areas .
  • Improve process development, documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Providing support with installation and implementation of new or upgraded services and infrastructure.
