Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician Permanent - Full Time Coventry Based£35,500 to £37,500 per annum About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for Multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians to join an Aerospace Organisation. Our client designs and manufactures state of the art Wheels, Brakes and Brake Control Systems for the most advanced civil and military aircraft with 77,000 aircraft fitted with their brakes worldwide. Using your experience as a Multi-skilled (Electrical and Mechanical) Technician, you will work within a large team of 75 people that carry out maintenance of Plant and Equipment including 100's of conventional drilling and CNC machines. You will ensure that maintenance is of a high standard, meeting the requirements of the manufacturing areas, whilst ensuring compliance with all electrical and mechanical regulations. You will manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance stores, ensure suitable stock levels are maintained, liaise with sub-contract personnel and carry out procedural inspections. You will ensure that the highest priority is given to safety, implement planned corrective maintenance in a scheduled equipment shutdown situation and promote continuous improvement The role is an excellent opportunity to utilise your maintenance experience in an innovative industry and progress through a successful career in the aerospace sector. You will need to have experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant and equipment and hold a qualification within an Engineering discipline to minimum of City & Guilds. We would also like you have:Working knowledge of statutory regulations such as electrical, pressure systems and transportable gas, manual handling.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge and experience of welding techniques and/or IEE/IET wiring regulations.Be physically fit.
