Description:
Operates forklift to ensure movement and/or packaging of materials within the facility.
Records/scans/keys work orders to ensure that materials can be properly tracked during the production process.
May perform additional production/warehousing duties as assigned.·
General supervision, with more direct instruction received on new tasks
Requires broad knowledge in problem recognition and specialised technical skills to develop solutions to a wide variety of work assignments
Requires some personal initiative and occasional ingenuity, planning or organising of work· Specialised office or technical skills, acquired through prior training and experience
Interacts with peers, supervisor, and internal / external customers
May provide advice to lower level team members on small to medium projects
Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
Consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined
Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Sets up, monitors and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements
May operate multiple machines simultaneously
Good mechanical aptitude, including experience in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
