Marketing Assistant / Proposal Writers

We require a 5x Marketing Assistant / Proposal Writers who will be responsible for continually enhancing our clients brand awareness, by assisting in the development and execution of communications plans, strategies, and materials for both internal and external audiences.

You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate the ability to prioritise and multi-task a variety of demanding assignments without a degradation of work quality.

Duties will include:

  • Ability to turn technical information into easily digestible literature.
  • Able to work with a limited brief / deep levels of detail.
  • Be able to take varying formats and bring them into the corporate style.
  • Be a confident presenter/sales person with a brief on the topic.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assisting the marketing manager and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities.
  • Supports proposal reviews and works closely with the Proposal Manager to ensure the development of high-quality responses in a timely manner.
  • Assists as needed in developing / maintaining proposal schedule, plans, outlines, templates, and mock-ups.
  • Write and edit copy for lead generation, presentations, speeches, news articles, and other corporate publications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and staff to write project descriptions that showcase company experience.
  • Compose and prepare responses to correspondences and other inquiries as appropriate.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature.
  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications.
  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.
  • Writing articles and promotional material to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.
  • Market Research.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

  • Some engineering exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of basic html.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, professional demeanour and commitment to customer service.
  • Flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules and priorities.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to quickly transition between multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. You must work well under pressure and be able to occasionally work irregular hours to meet deadlines.
