Manufacturing Technician - Laboratory

Role Summary/Purpose

Laboratory technician who will manufacture and dispense Magnetic bead products.

Essential Responsibilities

To manufacture, dispense, label and package Magnetic bead products, highlighting any quality or manufacturing issues if they occur.
To maintain good housekeeping and safety within the lab by working with the area supervisor to complete chemical expiry checks, waste disposal, stock maintenance and PPE checks.
To raise and implement ideas that drive improvements in productivity, safety and quality through the ideas scheme.
To conform to systems that aid with standard ways of working within the biology manufacturing team.

Quality Specific Goals

To be aware of and comply with the client's Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
To complete all planned quality and compliance training within the defined deadlines.
To identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
To ensure that records are thoroughly completed in a timely manner.

Ability to work within a team environment.
Ability to be flexible, learn new tasks quickly and work across different teams and with different product ranges as required.
To have a working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
