Here at Babcock International we currently have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join us at our site in Walsall. At this site, we are a specialist vehicle converter, integrator and supplier to the emergency services, civil, military and other security-focused organisations.


About the role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the financial operation for multiple contracts in the Engineering and Training Services business. As a Management accountant, you will manage and report all costs and revenues for each project assigned to you within the month end deadlines, act as a business partner across the site by being the main point of contact for financial queries and ensure the business units P&L accounts are adjusted in a timely manner.


What do I need to do the role?
We would like you to be a fully qualified accountant or at least a finalist who has experience operating in a Management Accountant capacity.


Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
* Industry background in Engineering, Automotive or Manufacturing
* Business Partnering skills
* Proficient using MS Office suite


What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
