Major Incident Manager: (ITIL, Live Service, Operations, Public Sector, 24/7)

The work location is in Telford and is a 6 month contract and is offering a competitive daily rate.

Position Description:

  • An experienced Major Incident Manager with experience of a Large Public Sector Live Service environment is required for a 6 month piece of work based in Telford.
  • The role is working on a shift pattern (12 hour days) including both days and nights and will be 100% on site.
  • Candidates will be asked to undergo basic clearance requirements before they can go on site.

Must Have Essential Key skills & Background:

  • Candidates should have strong experience of an ITIL environment ideally with at least a foundation level certification.
  • Candidates should also be able to demonstrate experience of a live service environment in a Public Sector organisation and be comfortable working with business critical systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with large Operations and Delivery teams to ensure the effective resolution of issues across multiple time zones.
  • An excellent understanding of Service Management is required as well as an exposure to IT Operational Management.
