Ground Operations / Maintenance Operator - 3 Months - Winfrith

My client is looking for a hard-working, thorough Maintenance Operative, who can come into the site at Winfrith on an initial 3-month contract. The client expects you to be full time on site and can offer a competitive hourly pay.

Job Title - Property Service Operative

Reporting to - Soft Services Operational Lead

Role Purpose

  • Provide robust and flexible support and undertake several duties such as routine maintenance tasks, cleaning, lift and shift, post, escorting, point of contact and other general duties in support of the Group Property operations on site

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes
  • Deliver general service tasks as identified such as weekly flushes, monthly water temperature checks, and small maintenance task
  • Cleaning of both communal and office areas as per agreed cleaning specification
  • Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level
  • Receipt, sorting, recording (as appropriate) and delivery of post and parcels on site
  • Assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries
  • Movement of consumables and materials throughout the building
  • Collection of waste items from across the building an disposal in the correct receptacles including kitchen and dry waste recycling bins
  • Carry out litter picking around the building
  • To carry out snow clearance and gritting around the building when necessary
  • Point of contact for contractors coming onto site for Group Property
