Role: Live Service Readiness Analyst (Service Design & Transition)

Location - Southend

Initial Duration - 3 months

Start Date: ASAP

Task Description

To support the Live Service Readiness pillar in the delivery of agreed activities to ensure an acceptable level of service readiness of the programme implemented change.

  1. Assist with the development of the C&IT Triage team
  2. Implementation of the team roles and responsibilities.
  3. Development of the team and SOP
  4. Assist with the support of the team over releases 1 to 3.

  1. Support the C&IT Testing guild with OAT.
  2. Implementation of automated smoke testing for Cloud and delivery services (CDOS)
  3. Implementation of the OAT documentation NFRs
  4. Assist with the transformation of Monitoring guild into a post release 3 function

  1. Provide support for the development and implementation of the incident management process for release 1, 2 and 3.
  2. Assist with the development of the SOP for C&IT Triage and incident management
  3. Develop the Helpdesk and C&IT questionnaires, for cloud infrastructure and delivery services.

  1. Assist with the implementation of the user journey based monitoring alerting and visualization.
  2. User journey visualization based on high level user journey
  3. Development and implementation of RUM/APM KPIs


  • Proven knowledge of a delivery background and the impact on services through change (i.e. Projects)
  • Proactive Risk identification and management
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Taking ownership & driving out effective operational solutions.
  • Experienced at facilitation
  • Flexible about work content and location and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (PowerPoint; Excel; Word & Visio)

Business Skills

  • Good influencing skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and strong management capabilities.
  • Good financial acumen, with highly developed negotiating skills
  • Good understanding of enabling and web technologies
  • ITIL Service Management
