Legal & Contracts Manager - FTC

ManpowerGroup are currently looking for an experienced Legal & Contracts Manager (L&CM) to join our expert in-house Legal team on a fixed-term basis. This position is responsible for managing a range of complex commercial and contractual matters within ManpowerGroup UK&I. The role of the L&CM requires an individual with a legal qualification and / or proven commercial management background, with extensive recruitment industry specific experience.

The individual will have impressive people skills and be able to engage with senior managers and the Board of Directors, as well as corresponding designations within third party organisations.

The L&CM will ensure compliance with ManpowerGroup corporate policy whilst creating an environment of progressive sales solutions. A key part of the role will be to advise on IR35 regulations, Agency Workers Rights as well as general matters relating to the supply of temporary and permanent staff in a range of organisations.

Remote working will be expected for this role, with some minimal travel to our Head Office in Uxbridge.


Commercial / Legal Tasks

  • Legal and commercial review of complex contracts
  • New opportunity due diligence including reviews of proposed contract terms and service level agreements
  • Contractual administration including letters of intent; third party agreements; direct supplier agreements; confidentiality agreements; contract extensions; etc.
  • Maintain a library of all new contracts and standard contract document formats
  • Responsible for ensuring up to date versions of all ManpowerGroup standard agreements upon legislative, corporate and / or policy amendments
  • Attending both external and internal meetings including but not limited to client and third party negotiations
