Learning & Development Advisor

£28-33.5k plus package

Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client - a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an experience Learning & Development professional to join their team in Rosyth and work closely with L&D Management and business stakeholders to source, design and support delivery of learning and development solutions in line with Business Goals.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows -

  • Support full lifecycle delivery of successful L&D solutions
  • Identify, develop and maintain a strong pipeline of talent to ensure future growth in-line with corporate strategy
  • Build strong relationships with keys stakeholders within the business, HR?L&D and wider industry ensuring a strong L&D brand
  • Work with L&D Manager to ensure L&D programmes deliver against desired outcomes and measure impact
  • Ensure return on investment and evaluate effectiveness of the programmes, including external interface with training providers
  • Support new business sectors and shape approach to L&D delivery
  • Typical programmes will cover but not restricted to Leadership Development, Soft Skills, Talent Development, Learning Management Systems, Stakeholder Management, Industrial and Health & Safety

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable commercial experience in a similar L&D role
  • Highly desirable for the individual to have exposure to heavy engineering, production or manufacturing sectors
  • Experience of developing and executing L&D programmes in line with business and accreditations standards
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong communications skills - able to engage with stakeholders across a variety of business areas and differing levels of seniority
  • Able to manage a diverse workload, highly organised to design and plan a wide range of short, medium and long term L&D activities
  • Able to evaluate and assess L&D programme effectiveness and report accordingly
  • Must be able to gain and maintain UK SC level clearance
