Lead Tender Project Sourcing Specialist

Role Summary/Purpose

Lead tender and sourcing specialist that sit within the well access sourcing team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • The candidate shall provide sourcing support into the well access product lines, responsible for setting up and managing strategic partnerships that support growth of the product lines, sourcing execution support into requisition projects and NPI programs.
  • Responsible for subcontract management of major orders within Intervention projects, managing orders from RFQ stage through to completion, including negotiation of terms and conditions, budget and schedule.
  • Support into ITO tenders to ensure we have the best cost effective solution with the supply chain to be successful in securing projects.
  • Tendering activity through supply chain
  • Negotiation of terms and conditions
  • Managing and placing PO's through Oracle
  • Negotiating, placing and managing major subcontracts
  • Management of NPI programs through supply chain
  • Setting up and managing partnership agreements with appropriate companies

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Proven years of experience in sourcing

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proactive and positive self-starter with energy, enthusiasm and ability to execute
  • Experienced working skills with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and web based tools
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnership relationships with our suppliers
