Our client a leading Multination Financial Services Organisation is looking for a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to join their team based in Dublin

Senior IT Project Manager KEY Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage an improved company-wide project in-take process that ensures the business receives the maximum benefits from its investments
  • Take projects from original concept through final implementation, ensuring delivery on-time and to budget
  • Insure project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving, Project Schedule, Risk and Issue Management as well as Scope Change Management
  • Provide supporting input, mentoring & leadership to junior project management team members
  • Support the Business Analysts in the Business Process Management team in controlling project scope to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with specified deadlines
  • Foster strong working relationship with Business Sponsors, Key Stakeholders, Development, Business Analysis & Testing teams
  • Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal. Often communicating with company executives regarding the status of specific projects
  • Some travel will be required for this role to support the needs of the business

Senior IT Project Manager KEY Requirements/Skills:

  • Educated to degree level
  • 8-10 years of experience, running complex programs of work (Both formal project management methodologies & Agile)
  • Top-Tier Consulting experience a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of Financial Services/ Insurance Industry Sector useful but not essential
  • Performs duties and makes complex decisions and recommendations under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of departmental and cross-departmental teams
  • Strong Communication (verbal & written) and Interpersonal Skills
  • Maintains a positive attitude in face of adversity and competing priorities
  • Strong influencing skills, particularly with senior executives
  • Capable of managing across borders and cross organizational boundaries
  • Clear Leadership skills
  • Commercial acumen
