Junior Midweight Copywriter-London- 3 Months.

As a Midweight Copywriter working in the clients in-house Digital Studio you will have a proven track record with a deep understanding of digital copy-writing, and the experience to generate immaculate copy for every brief.

Comfortable and confident in your writing, you will always be ready to rise to any challenging brief with a keen eye for detail, and a drive to deliver the sharpest, most dazzling copy. You'll be helping consumers find their perfect products and services by delivering clear messages across a variety of digital experiences.

You will report into and support the Lead Copywriter. In the Digital Studio, you'll be working alongside UX and Visual Designers, development teams and senior stakeholders. You'll enjoy a collaborative working style and be a self-sufficient multi-tasker, full of original approaches and innovative ideas.

You will be passionate about words with a clear understanding of how copy integrates with UX and Visual Design to deliver outstanding digital experiences. The ability to present your work to senior stakeholders and commercial teams for feedback is important. This role will only be suitable for experienced digital copywriters ready to make their mark, your portfolio will already be bursting with dazzling examples of how your way with words has benefited and influenced consumers.

What you'll be doing

  • Take ownership of copy briefs and answer them to a very high standard, working to deadlines
  • Edit and proofread copy written by team members and offer feedback when necessary
  • Work on multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
  • Contribute to the creation of the ultimate customer digital experience by working collaboratively with UX and Visual designers, considering analytics and insights and contributing to user testing throughout the creative process
  • Support creative strategies that are forward-thinking and in-line with current media trends
  • Support the Lead Copywriter in setting the framework for effective copy-writing across the digital real estate and ensuring high quality is maintained

What you have done already / What you'll be good at

  • 5 years+ experience in professional, commercial writing with significant experience of writing for digital media
  • A strong record in creating on-brief copy that delivers measureable business benefits
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creativity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and timescales
