My client, a well-known media company based in SW London, is currently seeking a Junior Marketing Analyst to join their Customer Marketing team on a 6 month contract role.

The team is responsible for developing and executing customer communications plus owning and managing the associated results. Delivering a great customer experience and creative excellence are all key responsibilities of the Customer Marketing team.


Analysis, Selection & Reporting

  • Ensure the customer marketing team has the insight they need to plan campaigns for measurable success
  • Be a driving force for improvement in the team by analysing existing campaigns and providing suggestions for optimisation.
  • Assist the delivery team where appropriate with accurate & relevant selections for marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver timely and actionable reporting on customer marketing campaigns.

Data & Systems

  • Ensure that processes within the team are automated and streamlined - where possible scripting repeatable work (your own & team members') using Python.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the marketing tools at our disposal (Datameer, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Doubleclick for Publishers, Freewheel, Adobe Audience Manager)
  • Become an expert on our data sources, their uses, relationships and the definitions of the dimensions & metrics we hold.


A successful candidate will be numerate with a working knowledge of Excel and/or Access. Experience using any of the tools mentioned, or experience in a similar marketing role would be beneficial, although formal and on the job training will be provided.

The following are desirable for this role;

  • A mathematical or scientific degree
  • Prior experience in a marketing role
  • Adobe Marketing Suite experience
  • Basic Python coding experience
  • Solid Excel/Access user
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work at pace
  • Capable of managing own workload
