ITOC Onboarding Analyst - Manchester

£28,895 - £33,229 + 30% Shift Allowance

One of our major clients, are seeking 4 ITOC Onboarding Analysts to join their IT Operations Centre based in Salford, Manchester.

The team aims to provide a cutting edge IT Operations Centre (ITOC) service that will provide real time monitoring of the core technology, infrastructure, applications and services within the organisation providing a holistic single operational view of our enterprise estate, related technologies, services and complex interfaces.

The Onboarding Analyst role is required to support the onboarding of services into the ITOC. To this effect, the onboarding analyst will be required to (but not limited to):

* Engage with stakeholders across the organisation.
* Request, review and extract information from the business and project artefacts.
* Elicit event monitoring requirements and develop them into event/alert rules.
* Create event monitoring documentation, work instructions and knowledge articles.
* Attend project meetings (face-to-face/conference calls).
* Support multiple onboarding projects at one time.

Experience required:


* Good analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and to liaise with stakeholders and customers.
* Development and presentation of reports on the progress of onboarding.
* General knowledge of networks, hypervisors, operating systems, middleware, and applications.
* Understanding of the ITIL Framework for Service Management.
* Ability to coordinate different activities with diverse business units.
* Experienced at eliciting and managing requirements.
* Experienced in creating work instruction documentation.
* Understanding change impact information.
* Experience of delivering to project work to deadlines.
* Experience of managing multiple projects.
* ITIL Foundation.
