ITIL MANAGER

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (FTC)

The Group IT ITIL Manager is responsible for defining and improving dedicated ITIL process and procedures throughout IT.

Other responsibilities include the management of quality IT services which meets the needs of the business. This position will support the organisation's requirements to comply with industry standards including ITIL and ISO27001.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Initiates and tracks the Group IT Change process to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.
  2. Ensures IT Change Management maintains conformance with ISO27001 and ITIL.
  3. Defines and supports the implementation of the required ITIL processes as specified in ITIL v3.
  4. Manages and develops team members in line with policies and procedures, encouraging high performance and acting as a role model for our behaviours.
  5. Reports performance against KPI/SLA to senior management.

Key Capabilities/Knowledge

  1. Works effectively and efficiently with minimal oversight, advises and provides guidance to other teams and team leads.
  2. Has a solid level of expertise in ITIL best practices.
  3. Able to independently generate solutions, based on analytical skills and business knowledge.
  4. Challenges the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance, improve or develop complementary adjustments or solutions.
  5. Relentless focus on improving standards
  6. Articulate and confident communicator with good organisation and analytical skills
  7. This role requires SC clearance

Experience & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience of ITIL processes, particularly Change, Incident and Problem Management.
  2. ITIL certification in multiple disciplines.
  3. People Management skills.
  4. Able to control own work priorities.

5. Knowledge of IT Service Management Tools
